Meet my Mother
Listen.
Put it into your heart, my smallest child,
that the thing that frightened you,
the thing that afflicted you is nothing:
Do not let it disturb you...
Am I not here,
I who am your mother?
Are you not under my shadow and protection?
Am I not the source of your joy?
Are you not in the hollow of my mantle,
in the crossing of my arms?
Do you need something more?

eternal Son of God made man, who is God himself." (CCC 509)

mother of my Lord should come to me?" Luke 1:41-43

“The work of our redemption began at the moment when the Word descended from Heaven in order to assume a human body in the womb of Mary. From that moment, and for the next nine months, the Blood of Christ was the Blood of Mary, taken from Her Immaculate Heart; the Heart of Christ was beating in unison with the Heart of Mary.” -The Servant of God Lúcia de Jesus Rosa dos Santos (source - EWTN)
If my Mother Mary was not assumed into Heaven by the power of God, there would certainly be millions flocking to her grave site. But they haven't and they don't - because she isn't there.
Mother of God: Mary gave birth to a Son who was divine, but also assumed a human nature (one person but two natures), and that is why we call her the Mother of God.
Mary said yes on behalf of all people.
FYI: The Virgin Mary is still a virgin, and always will be. Her whole life growing up including her entire marriage to Joseph, she remained a virgin. She went to Heaven, body and soul as a virgin, and always will be a virgin. Hence the title "Virgin Mary".
